Privacy

No analytics, no advertising trackers, no third-party fonts. We set no cookies while you browse. Your answer to the 18+ question is remembered in your own browser only, never sent to us.

Like any website, our hosting and network providers see your IP address when you load a page. We use it briefly to stop abuse (for example, repeated sign-in attempts); those counters are deleted within a day.

We receive your phone number and your message. We forward both to the advertiser you chose, and send you a short confirmation. We store your number encrypted, and keep a record of the contact so charges and disputes can be checked. We never sell it, never add it to marketing, and never show it on the site.

Once forwarded, the advertiser has your number. What they do with it is up to them.

Your email is stored encrypted and used to sign you in and to tell you about your listing. It is never shown on the site.

Your phone number is stored encrypted and receives client messages from our relay. It is never shown on the site: clients text our number, and see yours only when you reply to them.

Your photos are re-saved when uploaded, which removes hidden data such as the GPS location your phone can embed. They are checked by a person before they appear.

Your ID and dated selfie are kept in private storage that is not reachable from the website, looked at by a person to verify you, and deleted 7 days after the decision. We keep the decision and its date, not the documents.

Your credits: we keep a record of purchases, charges, refunds and the contacts they relate to.

When you sign in we set one cookie that keeps you signed in. It is not readable by scripts and is used for nothing else.

A prepared page holds details that were already advertised publicly. It is private, never shown on the site, and deleted on request: [email protected].

We use a small number of providers to run the site. They process information for us and not for their own purposes:

• Railway hosts the site and its database (United States).
• Cloudflare runs our network and DNS, and forwards email sent to us (global network).
• Cloudflare R2 stores photos and verification files (European Union).
• Mailgun sends our emails (United States).
• An SMS gateway connected to our New Zealand mobile number carries relay texts.

We share information with anyone else only when the law requires it, or to protect someone from serious harm.

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email [email protected]. We may need to confirm it is you before we act, and we will reply within 20 working days.

If you are not happy with how we handle a privacy request, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
